With lockdown extended to at least 28th May in Scotland, where we produce ComicScene, we are evaluating our publishing plans.

Issue 12 with Harley Quinn will stay on newsstands that remain open or can be ordered via any open local newsagent.

Issue 13 featuring 70 Years of Dan Dare is only available by mail order from Get My Comics or our Indie Comic Hub. Forbidden Planet are selling it via their website here. We are providing it to comic shops who are doing mail order and are committed to providing it in comic shops when they re-open. Contact info@comictoolbox.com to order. We will give you a Diamond update when we hear from them. There is still an intention to have this issue in newsagents from 2nd July but this may be revised pending further advice.

The ComicScene ‘State of Independents’ Yearbook 2020 is available in print and digital now from GetMyComics. This will also be offered to comic shops only, retailing at £12.99. Online it is 100 pages for £9.99 including postage and packing. This will replace any issue 14 which is not yet scheduled.

We continue to share free comics for you to enjoy during lockdown, including early issues of ComicScene, here.

As you can imagine losing sales from newsagents where we currently make the majority of our sales will impact on future plans for the magazine and we appreciate any purchases you make online including current and back issues here or our money off pack issues here. Thank you for all your support.

It’s quite clear many of the comic strips we have been featuring will, if continued in the magazine, will reach their conclusion many months from now. So if you enjoyed Rok of the Reds, Flintlock, Captain Cosmic and Milford Green we suggest you buy the comics in our hub here. This includes the full Rok of the Reds collection, Flintlock Books 3 & 4 and the sequel to Milford Green – Beyond Milford Green. All great comics.

Based on our research you want us to separate comic strips and features so we are working to do just that.
