The ComicScene Awards are back for our tenth year in 2027 – and this year will be working a little differently with new categories.
Previously we have asked comic fans to submit your nominations but this year we are asking publishers, creators, indie creators, retail and content creators to submit your own work for consideration for a ComicScene Award before 14th December 2026. Your work has to have appeared or been reprinted in 2026 and has to have been made available in or to the UK.
Send details to us at
comicscenecr@gmail.com
with a pdf of your comic, jpeg of the cover, 75 word synopsis or details of your shop/media outlet/event/web content/work. You have to list what categories you’d like to be nominated for from the list below. If you wish you can arrange a print copy to be sent to us and we will send details of where to send that once we receive your pdf.
The shortlist for voting will appear in early 2027 for comic fans to vote for their favourite titles with an event to announce the eventual winners.
If you wish ComicScene will also promote any comic we are sent on our website with where you can buy it ( comicscene.org ) and will may discuss with you editorial copy for our substack and magazine. Once a comic has been sent for consideration it will feature on our socials. So send your work early so we can let people know about your comic. Please allow up to 28 days for someone to contact you.
If you’d like to support our work and the ComicScene Awards please help us and take a paid subscription to this substack. More details here
