ComicScene announce Super Comic Thursday

SUPER COMIC THURSDAY ANNOUNCED

ComicScene have announced SUPER COMIC THURSDAY for comic book creators in the U.K. and Ireland.

Thursday 8th October is the day all the major book publishers announce their titles for Christmas 2026 and ComicScene are doing a special event for comics and indie comics. You can add any comic book which features a U.K. and Ireland creator.

You can start adding your books to this website now for free (check the posts for details) and we will be producing a special cross platform newsletter mentioning all the books that creators include and where you can buy them on Thursday 8th October.

These can be current books, Crowdfunder launched books or books you may be planning to launch at Sequential Scotland, Comics Assemble, Lakes International Comic Art Festival, TAGS, Thought Bubble or any Comic Cons or online events for the remainder of 2026. Books and magazines about comics are also eligible

The newsletter will go to nearly 10,000 subscriber emails at the ComicScene Substack so it is a great way to promote your books and find out what to read for the rest of the year.

All books featured on the website will be submitted for final nominations for the new look UK and Ireland ComicScene Awards 2027. Voting for your favourite books from 2026 will be in January.
