Where is Saffron Spader?
Welcome to California. The 1940s. Maybe.
In the sprawling city of Metrogrande, private detective Antony Blakewood is hired to track down a runaway teen with occult tendencies.
It’s the just the distraction he needs after a tough case – or at least, that’s what he thought…
Pretty soon Blakewood’s up to his neck in corruption, manipulation, murder and magic, and what started as the search for a missing girl becomes a battle for her soul… and Blakewood’s life.
A love letter to the hardboiled pulp literature of Raymond Chandler, fused with a hefty dose of Chaos Magic, BLAKEWOOD is a thrilling neo-noir fantasy, set in a world where nothing is quite what it seems…
160 pages, in vintage black and white, with spot colours. Includes cover gallery, a gallery of unpublished and rarely published world-building art and two test strips.
