We said we’d let you know when ComicScene Magazine goes live on kickstarter when the pre launch page reached 100 followers. The date and time will be Tuesday 23rd May at 4pm (BST) and ends 9pm on Thursday 29th June. Be reminded of the launch by joining the pre launch page here

We aim to publish three times a year – winter, spring, autumn – to be funded via crowdfunding.

This will be issue 1, the 2023 yearbook and will be published in November.

This is your comic magazine. You will be able to pledge and say what you’d like us to feature in future issues.

We also break down the pledges and what we will put the money towards. This will include paying designers, journalists and full page rates for two original eight page strips – so it is a real investment. Fans who support us will be listed in the magazine and comic creators will feature in a Directory in the magazine. Everyone gets something more from your support of this 100% comic magazine!

Rewards include the 2023 password to CS+ Cloud Comics Digital Library. There are currently 90 books in there to download with more to come.

You can get the print copy of the recent Kirknewton Story comic as a reward.

We are rebuilding after COVID and it will be a new format with more coverage of the comic scene than ever before and what’s to come in 2024. It’s a brand new beginning.
