PILCUYO Altiplano Vol. 3 is a science fiction comic created by Gustaffo Vargas. The Kickstarter campaign will be launched on the 21st October 2021 and will run for 30 days.

The saga

PILCUYO is the third and final issue of the Peruvian Cyberpunk saga Altiplano.

It will finish telling the story of Lila, a young woman trapped in a situation that is beyond her limits. Meanwhile, in the Peruvian highlands a big army marches to capture a precious fugitive asset, and that is where a monumental clash will take place.

The campaign offers the chance of getting the full catalogue of the Peruvian Cyberpunk Books: Previous One-shots TRUJILLO & L1MA and the Altiplano saga issues MANU, PUNO & PILCUYO in physical and digital versions. It also offers original art, comic pages and sketches.

*The digital books will be available in English and also in Spanish.

There will also be stretch goals that will be announced as the campaign moves further, including PinUps from guest artists.

PILCUYO Altiplano Vol. 3 is a 52 page, full colour comic about cyborgs, mercenaries, war and closure.

PUNO Altiplano Vol. 2 is a 40 page, full colour comic about robots, memories, warfare and sex.

MANU Altiplano Vol. 1 is a 44 page, full-colour comic about monkeys, jaguars and cyborgs with a mystery.

L1MA is a 32 page, full-colour comic about pirañas, vultures, robots and mafias.

TRUJILLO is a 28 page, full-colour comic about gangsters, shamans, drugs & dogs.

Gustaffo Vargas is a Peruvian comic book author and artist based in UK.

Since 2017 he has been self-publishing his Peruvian Cyberpunk comics PUNO, MANU, L1MA & TRUJILLO. MANU won the ‘2019 Best UK Independent Comic of the Year’. He is a member of the SkrawlLordz.

He is working with Dan Abnett as principal artist for Crayta season 2 from Unit 2 Games, he has done illustrations for Heavy Rotation by Shelly Bond and Time Before Time: Process Edition by Declan Shalvey.

He has done comics and illustrations for UK independent publishers such as Accent UK, Mad Robot Comics, Cabal Comics & Madius Comics, he has participated in several UK Comic Anthologies, and in Peru for Carboncito and In Planet Stereo.
