In the early 1990’s, the airline Dan-Air asked Barrie Tomlinson to produce a children’s comic to give way on their flights. This was the dummy cover he put together. Unfortunately, the airline went out of business before the comic could be produced.

Barrie also share a page from the comic by the great Mike Western.

Also this weekend Neil Simms shared on social media pencils for a new strip by Barrie in the second Issue of the ‘77.

Barrie is former editor of comics such as Roy of the Rovers, Eagle and Scream and more recently an author of books on his comics and writer for ComicScene.

The 77 Issue 1 can be ordered in our Indie Comic Hub here.
