ComicScene Magazine won the Yancy St Award for Best Specialist Publication at Edinburgh ComicCon this weekend. The new magazine about comics was launched one year ago at the 2018 Edinburgh ComicCon. Thanks to everyone who voted for us.

It tops off a busy week for the publication as our ninth issue goes to print (Volume 2 Issue 3), we opened our new online store at http://www.getmycomics.com/ComicScene, the new Podcast Episode 5 came out at http://soundcloud.com/ComicScene and we put the finishing touches to Crikey! Collected Volume 2.

Other Yancy Street award winners included Grumble, Frank Quitely’s cover for the Edge Off, George Lennox for Best UK Writer and Russell Mark Olson for Best UK Artist Lady Hollywood, Killtopia for Best Original Graphic Novel and Erin Keepers for Best International Newcomer.

More winners as we get them.
