Diamond Comic Distributors have confirmed today they can provide ComicScene UK magazine to over 400 comic and speciality shops.
Order numbers are Jun 187509 for Issue 1 (out now) Jun 187510 for Issue 2 (on sale date 5th September) and Jun 187511 (on sale date 3rd October)
Codes for November issue will be available soon with December issue featuring in Previews onwards. An e mail has gone out to all comic store owners with details.
Publisher Tony Foster said today, “We are very pleased Diamond approached us to distribute ComicScene UK, making it more accessible to comic and speciality shops who want copies of the magazine. We have seen pre launch copies and Issue 1 selling out in many of the 35 initial stores who showed an interest direct with us. One store in London sold over 50 copies, despite having given out 300 copies for free during our free comic book day promotion! We hope many store owners and their customers will support what is now the only dedicated monthly magazine about comics and comic culture in the U.K.”
Issue 2 is of ComicScene UK features 80 years of the Beano, Issue 3 War comics and the current issue 1 celebrates women creators, characters and classic girls comics.
