ComicScene UK, the new magazine launching 1st May, can now be purchased in store at all Forbidden Planet International Stores, Forbidden Planet Stores, OK Comics in Leeds and New Age Comics in Lancaster.

The in store prices will be £5.99 and you can make it part of your regular standing order (local discounts and offers may apply in some cases).

Issue 0 features 64 pages of the Beano, Dan Dare, The Prisoner, Thunderbirds, Judge Dredd, Doctor Who, Batman, Tank Girl, Preacher, Roy of the Rovers and articles by 2000AD creator Pat Mills and Judge Dredd co-creator John Wagner on his new character Rok of the Reds.

Since announcing the project three months ago publishers ComicsFlix have been asked if the subscription only magazine ComicScene U.K. could be made available in Comic Shops.

Tony Foster, Publisher of ComicScene UK explains, “The stores got a chance to see advance copies over the last few weeks, loved the magazine and wanted to stock it.  This is great news as we’ve had a number of requests to stock a comic about comics in comic shops rather than just by subscription.  So now you can and comic fans and those just getting into comics can add it to their standing order.  However subscribers will continue to get an advance pdf of the magazine before it hits shops as well as ongoing extras.”

The magazine, which launches on May 1st, can be added to your standing order in the following locations with copies of ‘Issue 0’ at £5.99 available from this weekend (28th-30th April).
