The Beano comic, celebrating it’s 80 year anniversary in July, has seen a 7.9% year-on-year increase in the recent ABC circulation figures, recording weekly sales of 37,542 copies.  20,000 of them are subscriptions, a 5% growth in the last five years.  That means a copy is bought in the UK every 17 seconds, along with their digital and TV products.
