30 years of Atomic – free comic online!

Atomic, a well regarded Scottish strip zine from the 80’s, are publishing their 13 back issues online over the next year. The first issue is online now here.

The first zine featured the adventures of ‘Captain Scotland’ by Tony Foster and Craig Conlan, early Art by 2000Ad Missionary Man artist Garry Marshall in the ‘Two Dimensional Horror’ and Near Myths and Diceman artist Graham Manley’s ‘Panic In Year Zilch’. You may recently have seen some of Graham’s artwork in the latest Judge Dredd supplement ‘Whatever Happened To Maria’.

Atomic published 13 issues from May 87 to Jan 92 to favourable reviews in NME, Escape and Comics International and featured art from John Miller and 2000AD / Doctor Who / Kingsman artist Simon Fraser.
