Comicbook heroes on film, TV & DVD this week

American-FlaggOn Saturday you can enjoy ‘The Fifth Element’ on Channel 5 but the comic book movie to watch is Karl Urban as ‘Dredd’ on E4.

Ahead of Bladerunner 2047 being release you catch up with the original on Sky Fi on Thursday – around which you can also enjoy AeonFlux, classic Planet of the Apes and the film more Dredd than Dredd – Robocop 1 & 2!

The latest TV gossip this week is that Howard Chaykin ‘American Flagg’ is to be made into a TV series.  Luc Besson and Chaykin are listed as executive producers for the EuropaCorp TV studios.

Also next week the CW launch their all new Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow series – expect them to be coming to Sky TV soon.
