There are lots of great comics around nowadays, aren’t there!
There are comics about zombies and superheroes and superheroes and zombies and sometimes ninjas too. And we love them all!
But what about axolotls in space? Where are the comics about THOSE?! Well fret not, gentle reader! Finally, the gap in the market for bounty-hunting-axolotl comics is well and truly filled!
Exiled from his home planet Aztexolotl, our derpy hero is forced to travel the galaxy hunting bounties and eating sweets as he tries to find his lost true love.
Accompanied by his trusty robot partner, the hecking liability blunders from one mishap to the next in these all-ages comics.
Are they brilliantly illustrated, I hear you cry? Nope.
In that case, they must be witty and masterfully written! Also nope. But he’s hecking adorable and lots of fun, so that’s got to count, right?

I write, draw, publish, promote and distribute my comics series called ‘Mary Boys’. I’ve published three issues so far and I’m working on the next one.
The books and Mary Boys merchandise are available on eBay.
The Mary Boys are quadruplets born with a rare genetic condition that causes enlarged hands and feet, distorted facial features and prevents sufferers from growing any body hair. Their condition also affects the way they metabolise alcohol, so drinking beer gives them almost superhuman strength and endurance.
‘Mary Boys’ is an indie comic about four teenage Knights Templar from a backwater English town at the fag-end of the 20th century. Their guardian and mentor is an old Catholic priest named Parrish who raised them in the ancient Templar traditions after an attempted robbery left him with a bullet in his skull and flashbacks to a past life when he was a member of the original Order of the Knights Templar from the 13th century.

OH!CON is the Outer Hebrides comic con, celebrating sci-fi, fantasy, comics, games and all that stuff.

Now in its third year (and already voted the best comic con in the Outer Hebrides, two years in a row), this year’s OH!CON is on 12 October 2024.

Do we have guest appearances by top names from film and television? Do we offer halls of vendors and merchandise?

No, not really. We’re not that sort of con. But if you like exploring nerd-stuff that you know,  discovering new nerd-stuff that you don’t, and hanging out with like-minded people then you’ll likely enjoy our day packed with workshops, talks, cosplay and other activities.
