You may be aware we are running a Kickstarter for our very first ComicScene Summer Special 2026 and the new ComicScene Yearbook 2027. You can back them here
We are just over £300 from our target.
If you pledge £18 or more at the Kickstarter you get both books and access to the paid subscription to the ComicScene Culture Review substack. Most posts are put there for free for 24 hours to over 7700 subscribers and then go behind a paywall. However we will unlock that for you for free if you back the kickstarter.
And that’s not all.
From May we are also launching a ‘secret’ ComicScene monthly newsletter which will go directly to your email. No where else – not on the substack, not here on the website and not on social media. Just to your email. It will feature news, reviews, features, competitions and special comic offers with our indie partners – including another on the next Tara Togs book (read the TT diary here to be kept up to date).
From April 2027, in our tenth year, we will relaunch ComicScene Magazine monthly and inbetween times you will get the secret email and access to the substack. If the Kickstarter reaches the stretch goal of £5500 we will also send you a copy of ComicScene Magazine Issue 1!
