They say the art of writing letters and debate is dead. We shall see! This is your area to write your opinion on comics, writers, artists, trends or anything to do with comics. Opinions are your own and not that of the publisher.

WE’D MISS YOU
If you weren’t here we’ d miss you. Comic shops, book shops, retailers, all need creators. And creators need routes to market. And information that puts all of that together. That’s where you fit right in.

COMICSCENE IS SO IMPORTANT
I’m a lifelong comic lover and having published before I know how difficult it is. And sources like ComicScene are SO important to the culture of this art form that I was genuinely distressed to think of losing another wonderful part of the comics world. Keep going folks. For as long as you can. You are needed and appreciated.

IMPRESSIVE
“Impressive how you’ve turned the subscription model into a delivery mechanism for legacy content while still promoting new releases. The 4000 pages of bundled digital material isnt just an incentive its effectively building a reference library that compounds the value proposition over time. Stref working on the Christmas Judge Dredd story adds connective tissue between your various projects and shows youve got distribution reach into established franchises, which helps validate the newer properties your pushing.”

COMICS…AND HOW FUN THEY CAN BE
“I watched Dog Man recently with my 4yo, and we both loved it! I think I loved it more than him though, immediately buying the first book straight after, wondering why I hadn’t known about the books previously! My son is still asking questions about exactly how Dog Man was made, so perhaps I lose a few dad points for showing him a film that may not have been appropriate for 4 year olds… But now we have the book, I can regain those lost points by giving him an absolutely cracking introduction to what comics are and how fun they can be!”

It’s amazing how many people discover the comic book following a successful movie CCR.
