Join them for MACC-POW! A full weekend of FREE and ticketed events celebrating comics and comic art in the very heart of Macclesfield. A truly unique event for the town that brings together both local and international comic creators! Get up-close and personal with legendary comic professionals and the bright stars of the future, as they celebrate this wonderful world with a diverse mix of amazing comic creators.

The main exhibitors day takes place once again in the listed Town Hall building on Saturday June 28th (10-4pm) with THREE rooms bursting with incredible creators from around the world exhibiting and selling their work and workshops

They have a FREE mini comic art film festival taking place over four days at Cinemac Cinema starting 26th of June screening classic films and comic art-based documentaries, showcasing how the medium leaps from the page onto the big screen and back again.

There will also be a full weekend of creative workshops, and interactive elements (FREE and TICKETED) from 28th-29th of June in the Town Hall, Library, local cafés, restaurants and Room for comics, Macclesfield’s comics and cartoon art studio.
