With tougher stories and more down to earth characters Battle revolutionised comics back in 1975 and it’s success led to Action and 2000 AD. Join us at this year’s ComicFest as we celebrate Battle with special Guests, interviews and exclusive merchandise. The Front- line’s Finest Comic!

As part of their Battle 50th Anniversary celebration they are delighted that Total Toy Books will be joining then to spotlight Action Force!

Dan McDaid has drawn Planet of the Apes and Judge Dredd for IDW and a recent run on SHAZAM for DC. His latest book is this years Worlds Finest Annual where he gets to draw Superman, Batman and Robin!

Every one has read the Beano at some point and it remains a huge seller every week. They are delighted to have Laura Howell, the regular artist on classic character Minnie the Minx, appearing at ComicFest. She’ll be sketching and will have lots of Beano goodies available!

Tazio Bettin is joining all the way from Italy- as well as illustrating Warhammer 40,000 he has brought Sinister Dexter and Azimuth -written by Dan Abnett-to 2000 AD. His work is incredible and this will be Tazio’s first UK Convention!

With the Rogue Trooper film scheduled to come out next year we’re gonna see Rogue, Helm, Gunnar and Bagman on the big screen! They are pleased to have the creator of Rogue and his buddies with then this year- Gerry Finley-Day!

ComicFest are proud to announce that they will be hosting an Exhibition of original artwork by William Simpson this year. Will still has a wealth of his original art right from his break into the industry with Big Ben in Warrior through Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Venus Bluejeans, Hellblazer and Batman. The Exhibition will run over both days, 7th and 8th June. Don’t miss it!
