There is no doubt in my mind that Brexit has done untold damage to the U.K. economy. It’s a fact and it impacts us every day, on all fronts!
On top of that is a postal service which seems damaged beyond repair. The cost of sending parcels is ridiculous. Then the amount it costs to resend lost parcels (or reclaim parcels at customs) from the U.K. to Europe and other places across the world is time consuming and just as ridiculous!
We don’t make money from our publications. We do it for the love and fun of it. The aim is to not lose money. The cost and availability of materials and lost parcels has cost ‘000’s of pounds and investment in future publications and maintaining our website. We also don’t want to upset our overseas readers with lost goods, from Ireland to Australia.
With all that in mind, and it is with great regret, that in future those outside the U.K. will only be able to order digital copies of our comics from future kickstarters. Thankfully technology means you can still read something of interest, even if you would prefer it in print. If you like it perhaps you can organise with a friend in the U.K. to send you a gift but I am afraid we have to stop this option.
We can only apologise for this to all our readers. We have looked at other ways and initiatives to support our costs over the last twelve months but I am afraid we have to scale back and keep things as simple as possible.
