Comic creator Stephen White aka Stref will be in attendance. He is an Edinburgh-based comic book artist and writer. His past credits include The Dandy, BEANO, Oor Wullie, The Broons, Commando comics, and VIZ.
He has adapted JM Barrie’s Peter Pan to graphic novel format and recently launched Tara Togs: The Silence of Unicorns. Tara is part of our ComicScene Books For Christmas – see below. Stref will also be at Thought Bubble and will have an exhibition at La Belle Adventure in Edinburgh before the end of the year.
The Edinburgh Comic Art Fair will also be on 23rd November in the Out of the Blue Drill Hall and TAGS (Tabletop and Graphic Storytelling) will be in Edinburgh on 7th December in the Fruitmarket Gallery.
In Glasgow Forbidden Planet there will be a signing of the TV programme Still Game comic book with stars Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill. Its on Saturday 30th November 1-4pm. In Gosh London between 1-2pm there will be signing of the new 2000AD Annual with Jake Lynch, Alex Paknadel, Si Spurrier and Phil Winslade.
