The Panharmonion Chronicles gets steam-power

Supanova Media are delighted to announce that The Panharmonion Chronicles vol.1 Times of London, is now permanently stocked at The Gyle boutique hotel in Kings Cross, London.

This innovative retailing initiative was born of the difficulties for a young indie publisher like Supanova Media to find enough interest or listings from regular bookstores. A predicament shared by many other small press and indie publishers in the UK.

The book is now provided as part of the amenities, in each of the 33 bedrooms, while guests and visitors wishing to purchase their own copy, can do so at reception for the same price as sold in bookstores: £19.99.

What started as an experiment six months ago has proven to be a hit with a new audience and the hotel has now ordered several hundred copies for the year ahead.

The Gyle is a quirky hotel set within three listed buildings on Argyle Square, that were built in the mid-19th century when this part of Camden was becoming London’s main transport hub with three new major train stations and the very first tube line The Metropolitan…all driven by steam-power.

The Gyle’s original Victorian features mixed with time-travel vibes, Scottish themes and sci-fi steampunk art is a perfect setting for a graphic novel that shares similar content of a surreal story set in the real world.

The Panharmonion Chronicles is an original graphic novel series created and written by Henry Chebaane. The first volume “Times of London” has been illustrated by Stephen Baskerville, who is also the artist on vol.2  “Ghosts of Sound” due for publication in 2025.

Supanova Media is currently seeking additional artists to illustrate covers and short sequential stories spun from this series. Anyone interested can send portfolio links to team@supanova.space
