ComicScene Review: Bodies

Bodies. I was recommended this tv show by a taxi driver in Dublin. He also said it was a comic.

So this was very good in parts. Originally 8 issues, this was the TPB. I devoured it in one sitting. There a body which is found dead in the same alleyway in London in four different times! Ripper times, Blitz, now and in post apocalyptic London. Each era gets similar time, and each gives it one artist. To an extent it’s then a police procedural, with each having the latest technology and also its secret society type thing.

Sadly I felt the future era was very very confusing, I guess it was meant to be though and slightly spoilt what was an interesting story.

I’m hoping and don’t normally do this that the tv show is better. Still a good story though

7/10
