Order First Knight at your local comic shop

This comic is hot. By Dan Jurgens and Mike Perkins – order at your local comic shop now.

Mike Perkins said on social media, “I’ve had a lot of interest for The Batman: First Knight from people who don’t usually pick up comics… so what IS FOC (Final Order Cutoff)? Well…the FOC for the first issue of this series is on Sunday February 4th. This means that if a comic shop is ordering copies of this book they need to get their full order in by that date (a month before it hits the stands). This gives the retailer a chance to know how many copies they need to purchase and the publisher how many copies they need to print. It’s also MASSIVELY important for us creators as it shows the publisher how ENORMOUSLY SUCCESSFUL the comic is going to be and then they can commission us to follow up with a sequel. SO – my future is in your hands! Don’t just turn up on March 5th as there may be no copies left. Get in touch with your local comic shop in order to order it ahead of time – the sooner the better for absolutely everyone!”

Dan Jurgens also said, “Set in 1939, just weeks after his first appearance, this story explores (Batmans) earliest days and the effect a changing, turbulent world has on him. Stunning art by the great Mike Perkins. FOC is Sunday, February 4!”
