Monster Fun

Deeply joy. Monster Fun has found its feet a little more. Here’s the October and November issue. Halloween and Space special. Good fun. Hells Angel popped this party scene in the middle of the Halloween issue. Lots of old friends there from the “good old days”. Who can you spot?

Sadly the Leopard from Lime Street has finished for now, but the beautifully drawn Crabbes Crusaders has replaced it. No idea what the story is but it looks nice x

A nice humour title and I sincerely hope it finds its audience. Both of these were found in the kids comics in Tesco. 🤞🏿

8/10 retro modern fun

Since this comic became a monthly it’s actually improved. Though I’m missing The Leopard from Lime Street. Gums is a highlight as is the eccentric art of Chris Garbutt on Hells Angel. Steel Commando is great though the art is perhaps over stylised. Draculass is good fun. There’s a real skill to writing a British humour comic and actually making it consistently funny, I think Monster Fun manages that very well and is an enjoyable change to my reading.
