X-Men Hellfire Gala: Infinity Comic #001
The Fall of X

by Gerry Duggan & Various Artists

So I thought the Krakoa/Arakko saga was stalling in recent months but this Infinity Comic is essential and at times visceral. Moira McTaggert at the centre of things as everything that can go wrong, goes wrong for the X-Men. The various art works really well, the story cracks along from beginning with Kamala being a triple threat , Inhuman, human & mutant. The decisions that the X-Men leadership take begin to backfire as Nimrod and Orchis bring their powers to bear.

It’s a really enjoyable ride that may well mean there is a horrid reckoning for Charles Xavier and his X-Men.

We know that Tom Brevort is moving in to provide Editorial control after the Fall of X for the X-Men after helming the Avengers for a good long while.

I just hope that the Fall of X titles as a whole deliver on this beginning…….
