ComicScene Review: Sentinel 77

This was a Sentinel Halloween special, three stories beautifully drawn with a narrators story at either end. It can be found in the ComicScene Digital Comics Library which you can get here.

Called 77 as all stories were set in Jubilee Year. The first is about her Maj. And was a story that former Coventry City goalkeeper David Icke would have been proud of. The second was set in Newcastle and the characters really popped in this as did the accents too, great characters in a twenty page story, where art comes to life.

A similar theme in the final story where Jonny Walker and Patrick Milton were working on a comic trying to get it passed at Queens Reach tower! It was mostly film rip offs!! Sounds familiar, when it was rejected the characters came to life and harassed the commissioning editor. A real fun story, similar somewhat to the story in last years battle Action by Garth Innis, where he finishes off the Action story “Kids rule ok”

Lovely artwork

10/10 well done Sentinel!
