Kevin Doncaster is my best friend. Everytime I go to school his big mop of black hair and large fat body comes bounding up to me and gives me a big hug, like he hasn’t seen me for weeks! It’s a bit weird as I never hug him back. It’s usually followed by a pretend punch in the stomach but sometimes he makes contact and it knocks the wind out of you. It is always a gamble when he comes into the room.
Kevin came around to the house today. He lives at the other side of town so his mum came with him to have a chat with my mum. According to Kevin she is not getting on with his Dad who has left the house. I am not sure how you do that so I ignored it. Kevin just kept on smiling and laughing so it does not seem to be that big of a deal. Parents can treat things so seriously. They need to grow up. I found the dinosaur cards that went missing last week and cut out the final set today and played with them with him. The rules were a little complicated so we made our own. It ended with us making dinosaur noises and trying to eat each other. Lisa came in and asked us to shut up so we both pretended to eat her. She did not taste nice.
