The original tagline for Hedrek from writer Laurence Alison was “Columbo Meets the Wickerman”… with this issue you can add a touch of Line Of Duty as our lead characters start to realise that the the group of Mummers that have been causing havoc is much bigger than they thought and secretly extends into the highest levels of society.
This issue the brown stuff really hits the fan and the action and intrigue is wound up to level 10. We find out more about our characters, especially our man Hedrek. Writer Laurence Alison and artist David Hitchcock return and are in great form.
