Doctor Who Christmas Special viewing figures

The Doctor Who Christmas Special ‘Twice Upon A Time’ was watched by 7.92 million people over 7 days, official figures have revealed.

This narrowly beats the viewing figures for last years Special and makes it the most watched Christmas Doctor Who since 2014. With a storyline featuring two Doctors and a regeneration big things were expected as actor Peter Capaldi and producer Steven Moffat left the series and Jodi Whittaker made her ‘brilliant’ first appearance.

Doctor Who is now the 6th most watched programme on Christmas Day.
